Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry seeks to encourage the women of New Hope Church as they live out the gospel and share life with one another. We desire to engage women who are new to our church fellowship with love and enthusiasm. We desire to help each other grow in faith and personal maturity. We desire to learn to further recognize and use our gifts as we creatively minister to one another and to the women in our community. In order to do this effectively, we have structured the Women’s Ministry around three areas of ministry:

Fellowship and Outreach:

Celebrations (showers, parties, receptions for women) and Monthly Ladies’ Night Out (casual, dinner out followed by dessert in someone’s home).

Caring Ministry:

“One-anothering” ministry of mentoring, discipling and counseling as women help one another move to a place of deeper dependence on Jesus Christ and intimacy with God and others. This includes caring of others in times of trouble as well as encouraging and teaching in our everyday lives. We also have a yearly retreat!

Communications:

facilitating communication regarding our planned activities (emails, flyers, announcements, etc.). Also, helping women to connect with one another (for example, using the NH women’s Google Group to send out an impromptu invite to go out to the movies).

The sisterhood of the women of New Hope Church is made up of women of all ages and from very different walks of life, and we welcome you to join us as we follow Jesus.
