Nursery

The nursery at New Hope Church exists to be a blessing to the parents of the smallest members of our church body who choose to have a place where their children can play and interact with other children during the worship service and also during the Sunday school hour. Parents are also welcome to keep their children with them during the church service/Sunday school hour. We seek to provide a caring, friendly, nurturing environment to children, ages 0-4. All nursery volunteers are pooled from the congregation of New Hope and have undergone a background check. During the worship service at least 2 adults and 1-2 junior volunteers (ages 10 and up) take care of the children who attend the nursery. During the Sunday school hour, 2 adults care for the children who are not old enough to attend a class. Parents are welcome to come and visit the nursery at any time.

Prayer Requests

  • The nursery would indeed be a blessing to the parents and the children.
  • Through the nursery ministry, relationships and bonds would be formed between the little children and the nursery volunteers thereby living out the desire to be a church family (“aunts and uncles” to the littlest ones).
  • There would be peace and gospel-centeredness in the nursery – that volunteers would be able to share with the little ones things of the Bible and of Jesus.
  • There would be safety and good care for all of the children who attend nursery.
