Our Worship Service
Our hope is that each Sunday our worship service will include worship that pleases God, satisfies our hearts, and invites our guests into something better than anything this world has to offer. Psalm 100:1-2 summarizes the heart of the worshipper who pleases God: "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs." We want our worship to be centered on God. We want the worshipper to have a glad-hearted response. It is an invitation for all people to acknowledge that God is the Lord.
Worship is the greatest of all our service to God, and because of that, we seek to structure our worship service in such a way that it leads the worshipper to be more satisfied in God as they turn from God-substitutes and pursue him.
Our worship service includes singing of both hymns and contemporary music with a premium being on biblically sound in word and musically appropriate. We spend time in corporate prayer and we delight in the ministry of the Word and work that Lord does through it.
We desire to be a church where our worship service is both readily accessible and understandable to all without compromising the richness that comes through a deep and meaningful encounter with the living God.
