Local Outreach
“You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth."
Even as the early Christians began sharing the good news with those immediately around them and moved outward with it in concentric circles, we at New Hope are deeply concerned to share Christ with those in our own communities. We want to shine in Frederick – to make a difference, to be known as a loving need-meeting church. We want to be good Samaritans and not close our eyes to the needs of our own neighbors.
Currently, as a congregation New Hope is involved on three fronts of local outreach: Care Net, Hood College IVCF, and the Frederick Mission.
Pray for these ministries and see what you might be able to do to help.
May God grant us more ideas, more outlets, and more eager hands to reach out to the spiritually, materially, and physically needy around us with the good news of the gospel. If God gives you a specific burden, come, talk, and pray with the session.
Note: If you have a correction or improvement on the content included in the presentation of any of these ministries please contact the web master. If you have an additional already established ministry to add to the site, please send the information to the web master. If you have and idea or burden for a new local outreach, contact the session.
